Maita Lester, President and Owner
Maita Lester is an accomplished administrator and manager. With a background in
social work and program planning, she is known for her caring attitude for both
employees and clients. She is able to delegate with ease and has a keen awareness
for getting projects completed on time and right the first time. Lester's first-hand
working knowledge enables her to understand client needs in detail and her grasp
of what's needed and what sells helps her excel in marketing.
Lester earned her B.A. degree in Social Science from the University of California
Berkeley. Upon graduation, she was employed full time with the University as a
program coordinator for the extension division in Criminology and Health Sciences.
Lester moved to San Francisco and worked in the Bank of California's Trust Department,
later being transferred to the Los Angeles main office where she administrated
Testamentary Trusts and probated estates.
She has served as an office manager and grant writer for Family Support Services,
as a Volunteer and Program Coordinator for Allied Housing, and as Director of
the Singles and Senior Departments for the Jewish Community Center of Denver,
where she created numerous programs and planned major events and fund-raisers.
In 1989, Lester formed The Association Management Group, which specializes in
association management and conference and event planning.
Joshua Duignan, Partner
Josh Duignan has worked for AMG since 1996, both as a member of the staff and as a consultant, and now as a Partner. He also is also a Certified Personal Trainer specializing in personal training and nutritional consulting. Josh owned a personal training business for five years before devoting himself full-time to AMG.
Josh is adept at designing custom databases, along with website maintenance and design, and possesses exceptional organizational, computer, writing and editing skills, which provide great service to our client associations.
Aaron Duignan, Administrative Assistant
Aaron joined the AMG team in 2008. Aaron brings previous administrative and clerical support experience to the firm.
Aaron earned his first B.S. from Colorado State University and his second from Metropolitan State college of Denver.
